S. Sethu K. Reddy, MD, MBA, FRCPC, FACP, MACE, was elected today as Secretary of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) at its 27th Annual Scientific & Clinical Congress in Boston, Massachusetts.  

With many future challenges on the horizon, AACE will do doubt require innovative thinking and focused energy.  The medical profession is undergoing a rapid transformation and we, in endocrinology, must keep pace and adapt in order to not only survive but thrive.” said Dr. Reddy.

As secretary, Dr. Reddy will serve on the Association’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors.  He will also serve on committees and task forces as appointed by theAACEPresident.

Dr. Reddy is currently Professor and Chair of Medicine, Central Michigan University College of Medicine.  He earned his MD in 1980 at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, and completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Toronto.  His research fellowship in cellular and molecular physiology was conducted at Harvard Medical School/Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston.

Dr. Reddy joined AACE in 1995 and has served on over 100 committees for AACEACE since 1996, including most recently as Chair of the 2017 AACE Annual Scientific Meeting and as Chair of the Business Opportunities Committee.
