  • Martha Zeiger
    Martha Zeiger, MD, FACS, FACE

    Martha Zeiger received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her medical degree from The University of Vermont College of Medicine. After serving in the United States Navy as a General Medical Officer in Hawaii, she completed her General Surgical Residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Thereafter, she worked as a Commander and Attending Surgeon at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Zeiger then com-pleted a fellowship in Surgical Oncology, focusing on Endocrine Sur-gery under the auspices of Drs.

    Dr. Zigrang graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine.  His residency and endocrine fellowships were divided between The University of Utah Medical School and University of Toledo College of Medicine, where he served on the full-time faculty and directed the Internal Medicine Clinic.

    Robert S. Zimmerman, M.D. is the Vice Chairman Endocrinology Cleveland Clinic and Director of the Diabetes Center in the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. He is on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and is co-chairman of the Endocrinology Board Review Course Committee for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. He is currently on the CME committee of the Endocrine Society.

Zimmermann, M.D., who has dual citizenship for Switzerland and the United States of America, is currently Professor and Head of the Human Nutrition Laboratory in the Department of Health Sciences and Technology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland.  He is also a Visiting Professor at Wageningen University in the Netherlands, where he holds an endowed Chair in International Health and Micronutrients.
