  • Felice A. Caldarella, MD, FACP, CDE, FACE

    Dr. Felice Caldarella was raised in Brooklyn, New York.  He is a graduate of New York University. He received his medical degree from the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Brown University in Rhode Island.  Dr. Caldarella then went on to receive subspecialty training in Endocrinology at UMDNJ in Newark, New Jersey. He is also a Certified Diabetes Educator.

    Dr. Yank Coble is Distinguished Professor and Director of the Center for Global Health and Medical Diplomacy, University of North Florida, and Clinical Professor of Medicine, University of Florida.  He is former Chair of the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine, and Professor of Medicine and Family Medicine, University of Florida.   Dr.

    Vivian A. Fonseca, MD, FACE, is Professor of Medicine, the Tullis–Tulane Alumni Chair in Diabetes, and Chief of the Section of Endocrinology at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He is a Past President for Science and Medicine of the American Diabetes Association.  He has served extensively in the clinical practice of Endocrinology, research and education, as well as a volunteer and leader in Professional Organizations.  He currently serves on the Endocrinology section of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

  • Jeffrey R. Garber, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.E.

    Jeffrey R. Garber, MD, FACP, FACE, studied mathematics at Cornell University before becoming a member of the first medical school class of the State University of New York’s Health Sciences Center at Stony Brook. He was an intern, resident and resident supervisor at LA County USC Medical Center. He returned east to be an endocrine fellow working under Sidney Ingbar in the Harvard Thorndike Laboratory at Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital (BIH).

    Dr. Gossain is the Swartz Professor of Medicine of the Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism, Michigan State University (MSU). He received his basic medical degree (MBBS) from Medical College Amritsar and his postdoctoral degree in medicine (MD) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India.

    Dr. Richard Haas has been a member of the Diabetes Division of the UMass Memorial Medical Group since November of 2012. Prior to joining UMass, he had been in solo private practice of endocrinology in Worcester, MA for thirty years. After attending medical school at the University of California San Francisco, he completed an internal medicine residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and then a fellowship in endocrinology at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, also in New York.
